Occupation orders

This is to control who may live in the property, whether it is owner-occupied or rented, and regardless of who is the registered tenant or occupier. The occupation order can require a person to move out and can state that a person who has already left may not be entitled to come back. The order can last for as long as the court thinks it is necessary to provide protection, but usually lasts for six or 12 months, after this time the order can be extended if the circumstances merit this.
