Non-molestation orders

A non-molestation order is a court order to stop one person pestering, threatening or being violent to another person. It covers behaviour other than physical assault, e.g. it can be used to stop persistent phone calls or hanging around a place of work. Orders usually will last for six months but can be up to 12 months.
