Housing Departments

Every Local Authority (council) housing department has a legal duty to provide you with advice about your housing options if you are in danger of losing your home because of domestic violence. They should also provide temporary accommodation for you if you are unable to stay in your home because of a risk of violence or abuse and may also eventually provide permanent accommodation.
