If you wish to make a new referral you will need to contact the
County Duty Service. This is the main access point for people
wanting to contact social services concerning themselves or
others.
If you would like any form of communication with us in an
alternative format, or would like an interpreter present at
meetings, we can arrange this for you.
We aim to give our customers quality services that, as far as
possible meet the needs of the people that use them. If you are
dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you have the right to
complain. We are always looking at ways of improving our services
and your views are valuable in helping us to achieve this.
Not every crisis occurs during office hours. The Out of Hours
Service can offer advice, support and help to ensure that
vulnerable people are not left at risk.
Local involvement networks are set to replace Patient and Public
Involvement Forums across the country, covering both health care
and social care issues.
