Blue Badge Parking Scheme
The Blue Badge Disabled Parking Scheme allows disabled and blind
people to park closer to shops and amenities, allowing the holder
to drive or be transported to areas within towns and cities where
parking is restricted. You can apply for a badge using the online

Community Transport
Community transport is provided by your district council.
Community transport is the provision of non-profit making transport
for members of the community who do not have full mobility and
therefore do not have suitable conventional public transport
services available for their travel needs. It includes schemes such
as 'dial-a-ride', shopmobility and community bus and car
schemes.

Parking Bays
Designated parking bays are provided by your district
council.
Designated parking bay areas may be provided for registered
disabled drivers (i.e. Blue Badge holders). These may be on-street
parking bays outside the residents home where parking difficulties
are experienced, or marked bays within residential car parks.
