I cannot get into a booth to have photos taken. Can I have a badge without them?

No, you must have a photo on the badge by Law. Photos do not have to be special passport ones but can be cut down from photos you have or can take at home. They do not have to be the same but must be of a 'passport' size when cut down and must be no more than 6 months old. Photos taken from your old badge will not be accepted. Only in special circumstances agreed by the department are badges issued 'Photo exempt'
