Have your say and get involved

How to get involved

User groups

If you've had contact with the Occupational Therapy Service, why not join a user group and help us to improve our services?

Every three months users come together to share their experiences of the service and discuss how the service can be improved for future users.

The user groups allow people to meet regularly with representatives from the service to:

  • Plan better services to give users what they think is important
  • Prioritise services and make better use of limited resources
  • Set and monitor performance standards

Get involved and contact us! We meet at a wheelchair accessible venue with parking.

User group membership

User groups are made up of the following people:

  • Anyone who has received a service from the Occupational Therapy Service.
  • Up to three members of the service, one of which will act as group co-ordinator
  • Observers/contributors, by agreement of the group, with a direct interest in or involvement with the service

Any of these people can chair the meetings or it can remain with the group co-ordinator.

Surveys and consultations

Your views and opinions are important to us. From time to time we may ask for your comments on a particular service or project.

Although there are currently no active OT consultations, you can view all other social care surveys and reports.
