Where can I get benefits advice?
|
Occupational therapists and rehabilitation co-ordinators
working for the OT Service will be able to give some general advice
about the benefits which are available to service users. If more
detailed advice is required they will be able to direct you to a
more appropriate person. This may be the benefits agency, a
specialist advisor within Social Services or some other
organisation. Generally if a service user has any queries regarding
benefits they should approach the benefits agency directly rather
than waiting for an OT or rehab to
visit.
