What does an occupational therapist do?

Occupational therapists in the OT Service work with people with complex or long-term needs caused by a physical disability. They help to facilitate major adaptations and the provision of large pieces of equipment for service users. Occupational therapists are also required to be involved in considering and supporting applications for disabled facilities grants to help with the cost of these works.
