The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for the
Government's welfare reform agenda. Its aim is to promote
opportunity and independence for all. It delivers support and
advice through a modern network of services to people of working
age, employers, pensioners, families and children and disabled
people.
European Social

European Social Fund Division is based within the Department for
Work and Pensions. The Division is responsible for ensuring that
European Social Fund money is used to support and add value to
national employment and skills priorities, in line with EU
