Kent Adult Social Services (KASS) is reviewing the services they provide to people with learning disabilities in the Ashford District and across Kent. Kent Adult Social Services would like Clients to choose what they want to do. We would like to ensure that flexible support is available and support new services to offer a wider range of choices for people with learning disabilities.

The Good Day Programme has been started by Kent Adult Social Services. The Good Day Programme wants to ensure that all people with learning disabilities:

  • can choose what they do during the day, evenings and weekends
  • will have the support they choose when and where they need it
  • are equal citizens in their local community
  • have opportunities to lead a full and meaningful life.

Consultation

The Ashford Good Day Project consultation has been designed with the involvement of people who use Ashford Day Opportunities Services.

If you use Ashford Day Opportunities Services please complete the Good Day Programme consultation questionnaire (this link will open in a new window), so that we can work towards making improvements in the learning disabilities services offered across Ashford and the rest of Kent.

This consultation is open until 20th November 2008.
