Children in need of foster care can have many complexities in their lives that need a focused response. Our teams have become highly innovative in developing specialist schemes to match such needs. The main schemes are:

Therapeutic Reparenting Programme

This scheme helps young people with emotional problems arising from lack of attention and stimulation in their early years. It provides specialised care for children aged between 4 and 13 (age 11 at time of referral) who are showing signs of immature psychological development.

Treatment Foster Care

Teenagers displaying challenging and anti-social behaviour are offered tailored treatment and support to encourage them to develop useful skills and attitudes.
