Foster parents with childNew Developments - Information Sessions

Kent Fostering are introducing regular information sessions for people to find out more about fostering and what it entails. It does not matter what stage you are at in relation to your decision to foster with Kent, whether you feel quite committed or whether you just want to discover more and talk to existing foster carers about the impact you can make. You may just want to gather information, the session is informal and provides an opportunity to ask fostering social workers questions and learn what support is available to carers. Sessions will be held bi-monthly around the county, come and meet the team our next event will be held in Whitstable. Please contact us on 0845 330 2968 if you would like more details.

Adam is a young man that needs a family, please read more and see whether your family has the qualities to support him.

We continue to need more Therapeutic Reparenting Programme carers, and carers who can offer respite, so if you are experienced and want to discuss becoming a TRP carer now or in the future, please give us a call and we can arrange for a TRP social worker to have a chat.

We specifically need carers for these two young people, each has different needs, find out whether you could care and offer them some stability:

  • Amy needs respite carers who can provide some extra help over two to three days during the week or over a weekend, this will entail working in partnership with Amy's mother and a committment to play a part in her life for the forseeable future. Find out more about Amy.
  • Chloe is a girl needing support, she really wants to improve her life and knows she needs a lot of help to do this. Find out whether you could help Chloe.
