The South East Adoption Consortium (SEAC)

This is a group of six adoption agencies that joined together in 2000 to increase the pool of approved adopters for children in our region needing family places and to develop consistent practice across different agencies.

Our team belongs to the partnership, together with agencies from Medway, East Sussex, Bexley, Bromley and Brighton & Hove. The consortium works to develop common standards and to share information so that we can achieve better matching results and reduce delays.It has become a successful consortium and has produced a rise in the number of successful child adoptions in the south east.
