Primary Intervention Project
|
- The Primary Intervention Project is a new and exciting school
based project offering support to families and pupils across six
schools in Thanet.
- The multi-agency team is able to provide early intervention to
families and pupils experiencing difficulties of any kind.
- The aim of the project is to engage the community, support
families and promote social inclusion.
Who can get support?
Anybody who has a child attending one of the six schools noted
below,
can get support for themselves, their family or their child.
Engagement with the PIP team is optional, so if a family is
referred, they should be
made aware and recognise their need for support.
Families are welcome to contact us themselves.
How can families get support?
Parents can contact the PIP team directly or see the Family
Liaison Officer in their
child's school, to ask for support or advice.
Other professionals can refer using the referral form, with the
permission of the family.
We are available to families who have children attending the
following schools:
- Dame Janet Infant School (Ramsgate)
- Dame Janet Junior School (Ramsgate)
- Holy Trinity & St John's Primary School (Margate)
- Newington Infant School (Ramsgate)
- Newington Junior School (Ramsgate)
- Northdown Primary School (Margate)
Unfortunately we are unable to accept referrals for families who
do
not have a child attending one of these
schools. |
