What is a Family Group Conference for adults?
|
A Family Group Conference (FGC) is a meeting where you and
your family discuss and plan for your care. A Co-ordinator
organises the meeting, invites the people and makes sure everyone
at the meeting has the information they need to make decisions. The
Co-ordinator will visit family members before the meeting to make
sure everyone understands what will happen. The meeting is usually
held in relaxed premises, and we provide light refreshments to make
the meeting as comfortable as possible.
