Who the service is available to

The Kent Family Group Conference Service provides an FGC Service in the following situations:

• If any child is at risk of becoming Looked After.
• If a child of any age is not attending school and this is becoming a problem. Referrals are made by Education Welfare Officers, who work with schools to improve children's attendance
• If a person with a learning disability has a Care Manager and planning and decision making needs to happen. Referrals are made by the Care Manager
  This service is currently only available in the Canterbury area
• If an older person has a Care Manager and planning and decision making needs to happen. Referrals are made by the Care Manager.
  This service is currently only available in the Thanet area.
