Action for Blind People
Action for Blind People is a national charity that provides practical support to blind and partially sighted people through work, housing, leisure and support.

Alzheimer's Ashford & Shepway Branch
The Alzheimer's Society is a national charity which now offers a community outreach support service in Ashford and Shepway, through their branch in this area. Home visits providing support, information on dementia and strategies for dealing with the symptoms of dementia. The branch undertakes fundraising and support networks.

Arthritis Care
Arthritis Care is the largest UK-wide voluntary organisation working with and for all people with arthritis. They aim to promote independence and empower people with arthritis to live positive lives as well as raise awareness of the condition.

B.H.T.A
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is the UK's oldest and largest healthcare association (founded in 1917) and represent assistive technologies in healthcare.

British Council of Disabled People (BCODP)
The British Council of Disabled People is the UK's national organisation of the worldwide Disabled People's Movement. Dementia Voice
Dementia Voice is the Dementia Services Development Centre DSDC for South West England, and is part of a national network of DSDCs across the UK. We work with local authorities, health services, the independent sector and higher education to improve services and care for people with dementia.

Different Strokes
Different Strokes is a registered charity providing a unique, free service to younger stroke survivors throughout the United Kingdom. Their services and the number of stroke survivors benefiting from them have grown dramatically since they were formed in 1996. They are run by stroke survivors for stroke survivors, for active self help and mutual support.

DIAL
DIAL UK is a national organisation for a network of approximately 130 local disability information and advice services run by and for disabled people. Last year DIALs helped over a quarter of a million disabled people.
