Provider Involvement in the Programme

There are three provider forums in Kent.

The East and West Local Provider Forums both meet quarterly and are designed to be used by frontline staff in those areas to come together, share views and issues and have their voices heard. Whilst the forums are attended by some members of the SP team, they are hosted, led and chaired by providers.

The Executive Board of Providers is a smaller group of senior managers within provider organisations who come together to look at more strategic matters.

The chairs of each of the local forum and the chair of the Executive Board sit on the Core Strategy Development Group, to ensure that the provider perspective is included in the programme's governance arrangements.
