Supporting People

Supporting People helps vulnerable people to have a better quality of life by providing housing-related support services. The programme helps pay for the services that allow people to live independently in the community.

It aims to prevent the problems that can cause people to become homeless, build up debts and rent arrears, need hospital treatment or move into care. Above all it helps people move back to living independently. The money comes from the Supporting People grant provided by the Government.
