Survey title: Canterbury and Swalecliffe Day Centres questionnaire - modernising learning disability services
Owner: Adult Services Provider Unit
Description: Kent County Council is modernising its Learning Disability Day Services throughout Kent to provide more individualised person-centred services.
During this time we consulted with all the people who have an interest in developing these services, and use the Canterbury and Swalecliffe Day Centres.We are currently analysing the results and will publish a report when complete.

Survey title: Consultation survey for the modernisation of services provided by Princess Christrian's Farm
Owner: Adult Services Provider Unit
Description: The service provided from Princess Christian Farm has been under review by the Kent Adult Social Services Directorate.
We have proposed changes to modernise the facilities at the farm and we asked you to tell us what you think about the proposed changes.
We are currently analysing the results and will publish a report when complete.

Survey title: Domiciliary Care Charging Consultation
Owner: Kent Adult Social Services
Description: We asked you to complete our Domiciliary Care Charging Consultation if you receive Home Care Services, act on behalf of someone who receives services or represent a user or carer group.

The consultation was based on five proposals which you can view here.
Outcome: A published Consultation Analysis Report is now available to view, detailing the results of the consultation.

Survey title: Active Lives
Owner: Adult Social Services
Description:

Kent County Council would like you to get involved in shaping services for older people and people with disabilities or mental health problems.

We are currently reviewing our 10 year vision for Adult Social Care and asked for your thoughts and comments. We have also asked service users, carers and our partners (ie. the National Health Service) to tell us how Social Care services in Kent should develop over the next 10 years. We aim to produce a final version of this document by the end of 2006.

Outcome: As a result of the feedback received the final version of Active Lives is now available.

Survey title: Consultation survey for the modernisation of Horizons Day Services (learning disabilities)
Owner: Adult Services Provider Unit
Description: This was your chance to tell us what you thought about the suggested modernisations of Horizons day service. We are looking at new ways to meet peoples' needs, and we wanted to specifically know what that meant for the people of Sevenoaks and to hear from everyone who this was likely to affect.

We are keen to develop services in both Sevenoaks and Edenbridge and we wanted to know what is important to you in order to get things right when planning learning disability services for the future.
Outcome: Kent County Council would like to thank everyone who participated in this consultation during May to July 2006, and who gave us their views through the feedback survey.

A report on the findings of the Horizons consultation for the modernisation of learning disability services in Sevenoaks detailing the results is now available to view.

Survey title: Contracting with Independent Sector Children's Homes
Owner: Children's Services Contracting
Description: Kent County Council Children, Families and Education Directorate has developed an updated contract for placements within independent sector Children's Homes.

To ensure that the documentation is fit for purpose for both providers and Kent County Council, we asked you if you could pass any comments or suggestions on to us.

We would like to thank the organisations who participated in the consultation.

All your views were taken into account and seriously considered for inclusion in the final documents.

The final drafts have now been finalised and are available to view.

The purpose of the self assessment is for providers to determine and report the extent to which they are meeting the service outcomes set out in the contract specification.

Survey title: The Voluntary Sector Service Grant Agreement Consultation Document.
Description: Kent County Council Social Services directorate has developed a standardised agreement for use with the voluntary sector, encompassing terms and conditions that take account of the Kent Compact. We are proposing that the Service Grant Agreement replace all existing Service Agency Agreements, and be adopted when purchasing future services with the voluntary sector.
