Conference comments and suggestions

We were keen to find out what you thought of the
conference and would like to thank those of you who completed the
feedback form to give us your views.
The feedback was generally very positive and we were delighted
that the vast majority of your comments highlighted how successful
the conference was at providing you with valuable information.
You told us that you found the following most useful:
- Being kept informed/discussions about transforming the
workforce
- Presentations from speakers
- Panel Question and Answer session
- Opportunity to network
- Exhibitors
Many of you stated how the presentations from our numerous guest
speakers provided you with lots to go home and think about. So much
so that 98% of those who completed the feedback form stated that
they would be interested in attending any future events.
Your suggestions of topics for the next conference are also
valuable, you suggested:
- Registration of social care workers
- Continuing workforce issues relating to self-directed
support
- Contracting and tendering arrangements
- Individualised budgets and safeguarding individuals
