Volunteering England
This website offers a range of resources for anyone who works with or manages volunteers as well as to those who want to volunteer and includes information about employer-supported volunteering.

Charities Aid Foundation
The Charities Aid Foundation is the not-for-profit organisation committed to effective giving and provides specialist financial services to other charities and their supporters.

Community Fund
The Community Fund distributes money raised by the lottery to support charities and voluntary groups. Their website provides information on how you can apply for funding.

Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
The CRB is a executive agency of the Home Office and is set up to help organisations make safer recruitment decisions.

Do-it.org.uk
The Do-it website is a searchable database of UK volunteering opportunities.

Institute for Volunteering Research
Volunteering England's site the Institute for Volunteering Research holds details of current trends in volunteering.

Kent Wildlife Trust
The Kent Wildlife Trust is a leading conservation organisation covering the whole of Kent and Medway, dedicated to protecting wildlife for the future, for everyone to enjoy. Their website contains information on how to volunteer for them.

BTCV

The charity has a successful history of environmental conservation volunteering throughout the UK and around the world. Their website has information on how to get involved in improving the environment where you live as well as details of conservation holidays and employee volunteering.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations
The National Council for Voluntary Organisations is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England. Their website contains an extensive range of briefings on issues affecting voluntary organisations and information on their products and services.

REACH
REACH finds part-time expenses-only tasks for retired people who now have time to give.

Sport England
Sport England are committed to creating opportunities for people to start in sport, stay in sport and succeed in sport, and are responsible for delivering the Government's sporting objectives. Their website provides information on all areas of volunteering with sport.

Timebank
TimeBank is a national campaign inspiring and connecting people to share and give time. Their website provides information on how to give your time. Timebank is supported by the BBC.

Young People

Millennium Volunteers
Millennium Volunteers is aimed at people aged between 16 - 24 to volunteer time doing something you enjoy and help others at the same time.

Community Services Volunteers (CSV)
The charity is dedicated to giving everyone the chance to play an active part in their community through volunteering, training, education and the media.

Their national network also challenges young people aged 16 to 35 to volunteer away from home for between four months and a year.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award promotes a programme of practical, cultural and adventure activities designed to develop young people.

Gap Year
The Gap Year website includes information for volunteers interested in a gap year experience.

Mentoring and Befriending Foundation
The national body for maintaining and befriending provides leadership for programmes and the promotion of quality standards. The Kent & Medway Mentoring Network gives local support and opportunities for volunteering.

Kent Youth Mentoring Service
The objective of the Kent Youth Mentoring Service is to recruit, train and supervise volunteer mentors across the County to work with Young People who are identified as being vulnerable, at risk or disadvantaged.

Prince's Trust
Prince's Trust helps young people succeed by providing opportunities they would not otherwise have and uses volunteers in a range of activities.

Student Volunteering UK
Student Volunteering England works towards ensuring every student has the opportunity to volunteer and make a positive difference in their community and beyond, through having access to relevant volunteering opportunities and receiving effective support.
