Community safety

We work in close partnership with Kent Police, the Fire Service and other organisations, including voluntary groups, to promote improved levels of community safety

Our community wardens aim to help the people of Kent to live safely and independently in their neighbourhoods and communities.

Kent has one of the lowest levels of recorded crime in the country. Government figures show that burglary and vehicle crimes and levels of drug offences and fraud have continued to fall in the county over the past ten years

Most emergencies are completely unpredictable. But local authorities are required by law to devise an emergency plan so that resources and experienced people are on standby to respond quickly and in the best possible way when a major crisis - of whatever kind - occurs.

There are several ways you can make sure your home is safe for you and your family.

Neighbourhood Watch is a partnership between local residents, their local authority and the police to reduce crime and the fear of crime.
