Gravesend

Gravesend has two centally-located venues to choose from. Couples who do not wish to have a Kentish Ceremony can visit Cygnet House for their registration of marriage or civil partnership.

Cygnet House is conveniently situated close to Gravesend railway station in the heart of this Thames-side heritage town. A public garden is a short walk away in Windmill Hill, where couples can chose to have their photographs taken.

Disabled access is limited however so please discuss your requirements with a member of the ceremonies team.

Alternatively, couples who would like to have a 'Simply Perfect' Kentish Ceremony for their marriage or civil partnership can choose the nearby Civic Centre which offers a choice of rooms catering for intimate ceremonies through to larger gatherings.

With its modern decor and recently refurbished rooms, the Civic Centre has much to offer. Attentive staff are on hand at all times to make sure your day runs smoothly and reception facilities are also available if required. The facilities include a lift offering disabled access, flexible seating arrangements, a large entrance hall with seating, civic regalia, and a smaller room with a balcony offering panoramic views and a host of photographic opportunities.
